Postcard from the Manor

The original signage, late 1950s. The day manager came out and gave me this postcard while I was photographing the more recent sign. He told me that the widening of the roadway very nearly resulted in the loss of the sign because the sign was now too close to the road for current zoning regulations, but because it was grandfathered in, the sign could stay. Should any damage happen to the structure, however, the city would haul it away rather than allow it to be repaired.
