Real Gone Cleveland, Episode Ten Thousand
So much that is great about Cleveland almost inevitably disappears. This mural, titled "World Deluxe," located on the side of the Preisler Lumber Company (at the roundabout between Woodhill Road and Quincy Avenue), finally came down a couple of years ago when the building was demolished. I was able to capture these views of it in August 2014, before its final demise. The last, "in situ" view, is about half of the mural, which stretched for 240 feet along Mount Overlook Road. The mural was painted by Cleveland Heights graffiti artist Sano, with permission from the Preisler Lumber Company and the cooperation of the Cleveland School of the Arts.
