Delayed Earthquake
The western face of the historic Alhambra Apartments on Wade Park Drive at East 86th Street. The entire wall fell away the morning of 9-7-2011; a contractor on the scene said it was most likely weakened by the earthquake in August, but only gave way a few weeks later. Sadly, the building was being renovated, but that may not happen now. Canon A510 PowerShot pocket digital.

Rail-thin kitten discovered sleeping on the sunny sill of an abandoned parking lot kiosk, Wade Park Drive and East 86th Street. Very friendly and hungry for affection. Canon A510 PowerShot pocket digital.
